About the Role: As a Vacation Student - Exploration Geologist, you'll assist in sample collection, core logging, and interpretation of geological data. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing diamond drill core for geological logging and sampling.
• Logging diamond drill core to identify lithology, structure, and alteration related to gold mineralization.
• Participating in surface and underground drill rig inspections.
• Delivering concise reports on geological projects or questions based on your summer work.
• Adhering to corporate policies and procedures while demonstrating a commitment to safety.

About You: To excel in this role, you should be enrolled in your 3rd or 4th year of a University program specializing in Geology. Additionally, you should possess:

• Relevant experience in core logging or geology-related activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with some exposure to mining software (e.g., QGIS or Leapfrog) being advantageous.
• Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Mines and Mining Plants.
• A strong desire to learn and develop, coupled with self-motivation and initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to deliver results and work collaboratively.
